For a few months, a lot of technology companies are working on AI developments, especially Google has improved several systems. Now, the tech giant introduces two new features to enhance its online shopping experience. According to the official announcements, Google introduces Virtual Try-On shopping, and you can now access more features in the shopping section. Here are the details about Google’s virtual shopping…
Google lets you virtually try on clothes with AI shopping feature
The latest feature will fix the issues of whether the clothes are right for you. Thanks to the latest features, you can virtually try on using generative AI on a wide selection of real models. You can also choose people ranging in sizes XXS-4XL representing different skin tones, body shapes, ethnicities, and hair types.
For now, Google makes the Virtual Try-On Shopping feature available for US shoppers on women’s tops from brands, including Anthropologie, Everlane, H&M, and LOFT. If you would like to use this feature, you just need to search for clothes on Google, then, tap products with the “Try On” badge on Search and select the model you would like to try on.
Google explains, “Our new generative AI model can take just one clothing image and accurately reflect how it would drape, fold, cling, stretch and form wrinkles and shadows on a diverse set of real models in various poses. We selected people ranging in sizes XXS-4XL representing different skin tones (using the Monk Skin Tone Scale as a guide), body shapes, ethnicities and hair types.”
Also, you can now refine a product to find exactly what you want. If you are looking for a less pricey version, in a different pattern, or anything else, you can now refine using inputs like color, style, and pattern on Google’s shopping section. Moreover, it will offer more options for you to purchase.
